Thief 4 May Have Been Pushed Back To 2013

According to CVG Thief 4 won’t be coming to this current generation of consoles, and will instead be hit the market when the Xbox 720 (codename: Durango) is released. Thief 4 has been reported to be in development for about four year now, with one game’s designers claiming that the final level is finished.

Official Xbox Magazine stated that the audio director and level designer have both departed from the project, as well as several concept artists and other designers. Since then, Eidos Montreal have revealed that the Deus Ex Human Revolution team is now working on a next-gen action adventure title, that has “player choice” and “stealth” in it.

OXM U.K. believes that it is Thief that is being polished for next generation consoles.
