Nintendo have announced a new online network which will be similar to Xbox Live and PSN. Called “Nintendo Network”, it will replace the current WiFi network currently in place. No release date as of yet but it looks like its set to co incide with the release of the WiiU in November. Yes, you heard right, November and “Nintendo Network” will be compatible with the 3DS. Also, they may change the name of WiiU to a more gamer friendly name because no one wants to imply urine talk anymore. Yaaay!
Capcom have set a release date for Dragon Dogma its hotly anticipated open world game set for North American Release on May 22nd and European release on May 25th. Copies of the game will also include tokens for players to download a playable demo of Resident Evil 6 ahead of it’s Noveber 20th release.
Rumours are rife that the next title in the Assassins Creed series will be set in the American Revolution along with a new lead character – however this is a rumour and we’ll keep you updated as that rumour unfolds. Also, Ubisoft have announced that Rayman Origins will be coming to the PC on March 30th. 60 glorious levels as well as online capabilties. Woohoo!
If you’re a games designer, you might be interested in a cushy little job that 2K are offering for their Mafia III title. Get on it and if you get the job, make sure you give Rivaltide dibs on exclusives.
PC gamers will be disappointed as Prototype 2 Radnet Edition will be delayed until July 24th no words has been given as to why it is delayed but, the console editions will go ahead with their April 24th releases.
