Sony Blames Time Restriction For Lack of Vita Games During Conference

Two days ago, Sony packed a powerful punch with its press conference. It awed the audience with its new game Beyond and gained a round of applause for its new gameplay from The Last of Us. After the show ended, there was one question that was on everybody’s mind “where was the Vita?” Well that question was answered today on Gamespot. According to their story, Sony’s President Shuhei Yoshida clarified that in the past Sony had been criticized for its lengthy presentations. Due to all of the hate, Sony decided to make this year’s show “very compact and impactful.” If that’s true, then I feel bad for Sony but I feel that if they wanted more time, the company could have bought a time extension.

Although only three titles were mentioned at the conference, Yoshida mentioned that there are 25 playable titles on the show floor. I think that sony could have done more with its time during the conference and that hopefully next year’s conference will improve this one’s faults.
