New Final Fantasy XIII Game Being Developed
Final Fantasy producer Yoshinori Kitase has spoken with Famitsu this week to say a new Final Fantasy XIII has just gotten into development and there will be a more formal announcement come September 1. Sadly, nothing was said about Final Fantasy Versus XIII or its current status. Rumors are circulating that the new Final Fantasy XIII game is Final Fantasy 13-3, a follow up to the recent Final Fantasy 13-2.
In other Final Fantasy news, the 25th anniversary event in Shibuya, Japan will begin later on this month. The new FFXIII game will be announced 11:30 on September 1 through the “Final Fantasy XIII: Lightning Saga: New Developments Presentation.”

I think the Final Fantasy XIII series gets a lot of harsh treatment it doesn’t deserve, though i hope Square Enix finish it off with this last entry then move onto XV.
