‘Gears of War: Judgement’ is happening

This censored cover of GameInformer magazine teased a new Gears of War game that was expected to be unveiled at E3.

However, two uncensored versions of the cover have come to light that seem to confirm, not only that Baird and Cole will return, but that the game will be a prequel to the series. As you’ll see, the character’s in question look noticeably younger than their trilogy counterparts.

It seems Cole hasn’t hit the steroids yet.

Plenty of details about the game will be shown at E3. With People Can Fly now at the wheel of the Gears franchise.

Personally this news caught me off guard, as I was convinced we’d seen the last of Gears, and I was even more convinced we’d seen the last of the main characters from the trilogy.
