First Max Payne 3 DLC available now (Warning: Contains Gorillas)

While charging gamers for on-disc and day-one DLC is a questionable practice, not charging them is a clever way of letting them think they’re getting more for their money.

May Payne 3‘s first DLC pack is already available completely free and titled, ‘Gorilla Warfare’. You may be thinking, “That’s now how you spell Guerilla Warfare!”. You do when it looks like this.

The pack itself contains extra items for players to use in the game’s multiplayer modes:

• A gorilla mask (It is just a mask I’m afraid, Rockstar still holding out on my request for ‘Planet of the Apes’ DLC), which boosts player stamina.
• A luck coin that increases the rewards obtained from looting bodies.
• A booby trap that explodes if anyone tries to lootyour body.

Now if you’ll excuse me, my pre-ordered copy of Max Payne 3 has just arrived.
