Dark Souls DLC Content coming to Consoles too in Winter 2012

As many of you may have heard, Dark Souls: Prepare To Die edition is coming out for the PC in August this year. The more interesting aspect of this is that there will be extra content in the PC version over what the original had on consoles.

Well, fear not console gamers, Namco Bandai has announced that the extra content, dubbed ‘Artorias of the Abyss‘ will be available as DLC for both the PlayStation 3 and XBOX 360 later this year in winter. This does mean that PC gamers get the extra content first, but at least it will be available for consolites.

Dark Souls was one of the best games released last year, and it looks like a decent amount of new content will be coming. Fans will also remember the name Artorias, and learning more about his character and his influence on the world of Lordran will be very interesting.

Whether you choose to purchase the game on PC or wait for the console DLC versions, it will be an exciting return to Lordran!
