With E3 right around the corner, new trailers and revelations are going to be running rampant. here are just a few new trailers for upcoming games and expansions that might be interesting.
Elder Scrolls: Skyrim Dawnguard add-on
First is for the Dawnguard expansion for The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim. Skyrim wasn’t originally intended to get any DLC like this, considering the grand scope of the game as it comes on the disk. It’s happening though and looks to revolve around a vampire lord and a guild of hunters called the Dawnguard. Whose you align with is up to you.
Dawnguard is a timed Xbox360 exclusive at the moment, which is a shame for the people who have invested a lot of time into modding their PC Skyrim experience. Although, at a 1600 microsoft points price tag, there might not be many Xbox gamers who pick it up right away.
Tomb Raider Gameplay Trailer
One of the games pushed back to a 2013 release date, the reboot to the Tomb Raider series is the first in the series history that actually looks interesting to me. Lara it yet to become the hardened murderer and the thief that she later turns into, and so it a much more relatable character. To say what she seems to go through in this game is an ordeal would be an understatement.
It looks like one to keep an eye on anyway.
Dishonoured Gameplay Trailer
Another Bethesda game. Dishonoured looks amazing, you play as a supernaturally powered assassin in a period piece where the bad guys have giant robot walkers. There looks like there might be something much deeper to the story too, but that’s not what this trailer is about. This one is about stabbing guys in the neck with a retractable sword.
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance
A trailer that looks a barmy as it does badass. Metal Gear Rising is been a long time coming for me. And once I got over that name, I watched this trailer, and it looks amazing. As far as hack and slash games go, this one looks like it takes it to a whole new level.
These games look amazing! I’d say Tomb Raider is the one that has me the most excited though.
